Account Deletion Policy
Last updated: 24 May 2026
LocalRiding.com does not currently offer public user accounts. However, if you have contacted us through the website, we may hold personal data such as your name, email address and message content. This policy explains how to request deletion of that data.
What Data We May Hold
- Information you provided via our contact form (name, email, message).
- Any email correspondence between you and us.
- Server logs and analytics data that may indirectly identify you.
How to Request Deletion
Email debbie@localriding.com from the email address associated with your data and include the subject line "Data deletion request". Please describe what data you would like removed (for example, "all messages I have sent through your contact form").
Verification
To protect your privacy, we may ask reasonable questions to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. We will not share your data with anyone making a request on your behalf without appropriate authorisation.
Response Time
We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR requirements. If we need more time due to the complexity of the request, we will let you know.
Data We May Retain
We may retain certain information where we are legally required to do so, where it is necessary to defend legal claims, or where it has been anonymised so it can no longer identify you.
Your Right to Complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your request, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
